Anees Bazmee has exciting updates on No Entry 2! He’s spilling the beans on what fans can expect and teasing whether Salman Khan will make a cameo.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anees mentioned that if all goes well, production for No Entry 2 could kick off around February or March. The film will feature a star-studded cast, including Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor, along with nine female leads, promising an exciting mix of talent.
Bazmee also revealed that the process of finalizing the actresses for No Entry 2 is underway. He noted that he had been busy with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is why he requested Boney Kapoor to wait until the film's release before he could focus fully on the new project.
Further, the director shared that while he couldn't confirm if Salman Khan will be part of No Entry 2, he emphasized the film's significance to him. He mentioned that No Entry marked a turning point in his career, as it helped him break free from being known solely for romantic films, following the success of Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha. The film holds a special place in his heart, making it a project he is deeply invested in.
Anees Bazmee reminisced about his filmmaking journey, noting that after creating successful films like Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Deewangi, and Hulchul, he was initially typecast as a romantic storyteller. However, after the positive reception of Deewangi, a suspense thriller featuring standout performances by Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Urmila Matondkar, he proved his versatility. Despite this, he chose to explore comedy for his next project, showcasing his range as a director.

He expressed how No Entry significantly changed his career trajectory. He emphasized that while traditional comedy films often relied solely on actors' timing, he aimed to create something unique with No Entry. This film introduced a fresh approach to comedy, showcasing a distinct style that set it apart from typical comedic productions.

Bazmee noted that the climax of No Entry featured special effects that were groundbreaking for its time in 2005. The filming involved challenging scenes shot across seven or eight countries, including difficult terrain like mountains. He expressed excitement about the upcoming project, emphasizing that the creative team remains committed to producing quality work.
