The beloved TV couple, first crossed paths on the set of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, where their romance blossomed. They celebrated their union with a grand wedding in 2017, and their joy expanded in 2020 with the birth of their first daughter, Anayka Gupta. Their family grew once more with the arrival of their second daughter on September 5, 2024, a symbol of their enduring love and happiness.
Smriti, an active presence on social media, shared the news by posting about the intimate Shudhi Hawan held for the newborn. The baby was wrapped in a white blanket with star prints and a pink bonnet, while Smriti wore a sage green salwar suit with a golden dupatta. Anayka looked adorable in a white and blue dress, and Gautam was dressed in a blue kurta and white pyjama.
Smriti announced on Instagram that Anayka’s wish for a baby sister had come true, completing their family. She also shared April 17, 2024, photos revealing her baby bump in a glowing baby pink dress with sequins and a thigh-high slit, with Anayka hugging her belly and Gautam offering a supportive side hug.
