Joey Bosa informed Alex Insdorf of Bolt Breakdowns that Harbaugh has instructed Herbert to cease giving teammates high fives upon returning from the field to safeguard his hands. Harbaugh's unusual request for Herbert to keep him on the field demonstrates his willingness to go to prevent injuries. Although the likelihood of Herbert hurting his hand while high-fiving his teammates is slim, Harbaugh is not willing to risk such risks.
