Stree 2 Box Office Collection day 47: Shraddha Kapoor starrer falls below Rs 1 crore for the first time

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao led Stree 2’s dream run at the box office seems to be running out of steam as it heads towards its 50th day mark. Also perhaps because now, the movie has also begun streaming on OTT. In it’s 46 day run till now the film has minted RS 588.10 crore thus making it the biggest Hindi film of all time and 6th biggest film of Indian Cinema after Jawan, Kalki 2898AD, RRR, KGF 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
But on its 47th for the first time the collection of the film fell below Rs 1 crore minting just Rs 60 lakh, thus taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 588.70 crore.With no big Hindi release till 11 October 11 which will see two major films Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video releasing, Stree 2 will surely be crossing Rs 600 crore mark, becoming the only Hindi film to do so.

But even with a box office collection of nearly Rs 600 crore, Stree 2 wont be able to jump up its ranking in the Top 10 films of Indian Cinema. As the 5th spot is held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which has collected Rs 640.25 crore in its entire box office run.


Stree 2 also features Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Pankaj Tripathi, with special appearances by Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The makers are considering a spin-off focused on Shraddha Kapoor’s character, exploring the backstory of Stree.
