'Pakistan ko andhere mein ujala dikhaya': Rajnath’s praise for IAF on Operation Sindoor

NEW DELHI: Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that the Operation Sindoor is not over yet, while claiming that many of their (Pakistan) air bases were destroyed in the Operation. "Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Whatever happened was just a trailer. When the right time comes, we will show the full picture to the world," Singh said while addressing personnel at the station.He added, "In Operation Sindoor, our armed forces not only dominated enemy but also succeeded in decimating them."The defence minister said the Indian Air Force had played a key role in the operation, which was aimed at countering terrorism."Indian Air Force assumed a very impactful role in Operation Sindoor and it is being appreciated not only in this country but also in the other countries of the world. In this Operation, you not only dominated the enemies but also successfully decimated them. This Operation against terrorism was led by our Indian Air Force. Our Air Force has touched the zenith of the sky through its valour and bravery. I would also like to thank Air Chief Marshal AP Singh for this, his efforts, his entire team and all his jawans. This is no small thing that our Air Force can reach every corner of Pakistan and this has been proven in every manner."He also said, "Our air force spearheaded this campaign against terrorism effectively."The defence minister also said that even Pakistan has now accepted the power of BrahMos missile. "Even Pakistan has accepted the power of BrahMos missile. There is an old saying in our country, 'Din mein taare dekhna.' Made in India BrahMos missile showed 'raat ke andhere mein din ka ujala' to Pakistan," Singh said.The defence minister also said, "We have kept Pakistan on probation. If its behavior improves, then okay, otherwise, it will be given strictest punishment. Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Whatever happened was just a trailer. When the right time comes, we will show the full picture to the world."Praising the Indian Air Force further, Singh said, "The entire world has seen how you destroyed nine terrorist camps located on the soil of Pakistan. In the action taken later, several of their air bases were destroyed. During Operation Sindoor, Indian Air Force displayed not just their might but also proved to the world that now India's war policy and technology have changed."Singh told the Air Warriors, "You have made the entire nation believe that 'Naya Bharat ab sahan nahi karta, balki wah palat kar jawab deta hai'. I can say all I want but my words would fail to assess your actions. On behalf of a grateful nation, I extend my gratitude to you once again."The defence minister also spoke about Pakistan's use of international funding. "I believe Pakistan will spend a large portion of the funds received from the International Monetary Fund on terror infrastructure in its country.
