Samsung is all set to launch Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphone series. The company is expected to launch the flagship Galaxy S25 smartphone series next month. , alongside the launch of the iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), and Apple Watch Ultra.
While Samsung has explored car crash detection in the past, with code related to a car crash sensor found in older models, the feature never materialised. However, the presence of a "Car Crash Detect Wakeup sensor" in leaked Galaxy S25 files indicates that the company may finally be ready to introduce this crucial safety feature.
The leaked files also reveal that the car crash detection system in the Galaxy S25 series will likely be a "composite sensor," meaning it will utilise data from multiple sensors on the phone to provide a more accurate assessment of a potential accident.
This development is particularly noteworthy, as car crash detection has proven to be a valuable safety feature on other smartphones, such as the Google Pixel series. If Samsung does indeed include this feature in the Galaxy S25 series, it would be a significant step forward in enhancing user safety.
